Golden Lighthouse Hotel

Wow! Having never been to Turkey before, we booked this Hotel on recommendation from a couple we met on holiday in Greece. It sounded a perfect place … and the Hotel sounded ideal. Beyond ideal! We were absolutely blown away by the grounds … so beautiful, so calming. Lots of little hidey spots/yoga area/hammocks … The pool is immaculate and there are plenty of loungers … also loungers in the gardens. Our room was on the top floor and so very spacious … a lovely bathroom with walk in shower (rain shower) - towels changed every day and everything tidied. Breakfast was fabulous with a great selection and it was a lovely space to eat and to chat to other people staying at the Hotel. I think the highlight of breakfast was when the Geese came down to eat … We came down one morning to see one of the cleaning ladies sweeping up petals that had fallen onto the gravel overnight … beyond clean! There is also a large Chess Board and we were amused to see chickens and a Rooster wandering through the space one day! The staff are amazing - so friendly and an absolute delight to be around and we actually loved this Hotel so much that we have decided to return!

What a lovely hotel. Clean, well kept, comfortable. Rooms are cleaned as often as you want, beds are so comfortable. My only criticism on the room we had was bathroom is a wet room, not my taste but was ok. Breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice. Pool and pool bar are great. Cannot speak highly enough of Nadi and his staff nothing too much trouble. Just fyi 4 floors no lift, manageable though

What a fab hotel. The team were so friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast every morning was fresh and delicious! I went with my family at the end of July/beginning of August and were well looked after by Nadi and Mehmet. Its well located in the lovely town of Patara, with loads to do all around you! Would definitely recommend.
