Aldiana Side

We had a great time at this hotel, the food was nice, it was easy to catch a bus in to town. We had a 2 bed family room, which was nice. The staff were great and always made the kids feel happy. There was free ice cream. We also liked seeing all the little lizards running around wild. Would.vitit this hotel again

So first of all no one and I mean no one here is English. The staff speak limited English, and if you book with Thomas Cook the rep will not visit. You may think this does not matter but my holiday would have been much improved if I had this contact just to make me feel safer. The drinks are fine ok larger and a canny G&T. The food is ok but the soup is nice. The beds were hard but overall the room was clean. You get what you pay for and the staff were pleasant.

Stayed here in May 2018, rooms where clean and tidy, although the daily cleaning service didn't include moving the furniture to clean behind or mopping the balcony. The food was of a reasonable standard considering the price we paid. There is only so many variations of potatoes, cabbage and salads that the chef can do, the deserts where always different but you had to get in first as once they where gone they weren't replaced. Entertainment was done by one guy who was expected to do everything, there where no acts bought in from outside and the only "act" we had whilst there was the lifeguard doing a fire show for us. The gym, if u could call it that was a small room with 2 x bikes and a multi gym all of which didn't work, the manager just shrugged his shoulders and said he would get them fixed, we where there 2 weeks and nothing was done!! Sauna was excellent but the spa area is run by a manager who, if you didn't book and pay for anything, would ignore you all the time and just give you the "look" if you dared ask to use the sauna, which is free. The bars consist of one in the foyer, the restaurant and pool area. Again you would have to go looking for service if u wanted a drink. Only one local beer and some local gin, vodka etc. The public areas where always clean and tidy and the maids, cleaners and security always polite. Mainly Russian and German, Wouldn't book thus hotel again.
