Opus Apart Hotel

We have just returned from the opus on arrival we thought what a amazing little hotel I will be very honest with this review We had a 2 bedroom apartment very spacious and on ground floor level unfortunately it wasn't equipped with enough cups glasses or pillows we did ask for more pillows and was only given 1 extra we arrived on Monday 3rd Aug the pool was lovely but getting a sunbed was near impossible unless you get up at 7 am which when on holiday it's not the best the staff are mostly friendly now by the Friday we hadn't seen a cleaner come into our room the floors were leaving black feet and our towels and bedding was dirty so I went to reception and asked where I was told this is normal I explained that the floors needed attention and our towels and bedding but was handed a dust pan and brush and said u can do it yourself by reception I was in shock a friend of ours used to work there so he called up and the next day the cleaner arrived changed the beds and gave towels but didn't clean the floors which again I was shocked basic cleaning is a must surly we thought maybe they would come back the next day no again we waited another 5 days where off I went to reception again where they said were busy 28 checkouts today so I decided to go speak with the owner that evening at 5pm the cleaners arrived and cleaned the room in 2 weeks we only had our towels changed twice and our bedding we come to kusadasi every year and never have we had this problem we always stay self catering and every 2 days in all our hotels we get clean bedding and towels and the cleaning team come in every day Especially to change the toilet bins as it's a must as the Toliet roll has to be placed in the bin Its such a shame as we were recommended this hotel but the cleaning really let's it down Everyone says it's a gem of a hotel but it really isn't because of the cleaning and also most of the sunbeds around the pool are broken which isn't great either This isn't a cheap hotel to stay either and you expect things to be clean and not broken If these issue were sorted and the apartment was checked for plates cups ext being enough and not broken it could be lovely and the poolside beds replaced the restaurant food is lovely and like I said the staff are friendly but it was like being in a dirty back street place such a shame would we return unfortunately not as cleaning is a must

We stayed in the Opus hotel for 10 nights, when arriving staff were lovely room was clean and nice and from there it was down hill, it took us 5 days before our room got cleaned after asking multiple times we reported the door on the shower was broken they said the would have someone to fix it, no one came then when closing the shower door the glass shattered in on me, cutting my face arms and feet when we ran for help the staff brought up a wipe and plasters and said there was nothing they could do to clean the room till the cleaners came back the next morning, after complaining that was not good enough he brought a brush and swept some of it up and repeated it will be cleaned tomorrow I had no way to shower to wash the shards of glass off again complaining they eventually let me have a shower in an empty room, the glass was everywhere they would not give us a brush they only thing we could use was towels and put them in bags as we needed to us the bathroom during the night, to top it off they charged us for using the towels absolutely worse experience i have ever had, and to top it off we got food poisoning. Worst holiday worse hotel experience would never recommend here

Returned here after last visiting 14 years ago. It's changed a lot. The apartments have been really updated to a lovely degree. We had a washing machine on our apartment which was great. There was free air conditioning, free room safe, and free WiFi all over including in the apartment which isn't always the case with other hotels. The pool and surrounding areas are lovely and lots of sunbathing areas and nice shaded areas in the garden if that's what u prefer. The food was great and you will certainly never go hungry, the portions are huge and very tasty, with lots of selection. I love to read and there was a little library area with books to borrow which I made excellent use of. Ben the owner is lovely and friendly and all the staff are friendly and polite. We've already booked to go back next year and cannot wait.
