Gure Termal Resort Hotel

Great Disappointment We made a reservation for Güre Thermal in Balıkesir and paid a down payment of 22,125 TL via bank transfer. However, the sight we encountered upon arriving at the hotel and entering the room forced us to cancel our stay. The room was damp, and the walls were damaged by moisture. The air conditioner looked extremely neglected and dirty. A bucket and cleaning supplies had been left in the middle of the room. The taps in the bathroom were heavily limescale-covered. The inside of the refrigerator was dirty and neglected. We have photographs of all the situations I mentioned. Furthermore, despite requesting an invoice/receipt three times for our payment of 22,125 TL, we were not provided with any documentation. The hotel later informed me via WhatsApp in writing that the 5,000 TL would be refunded within 14 days. When we called again on the 13th day of the period, we were told that the payment would be made on August 9, 2026. We also have a recording of this meeting. However, we were informed via WhatsApp today that this time a refund will not be issued. Here, the issue is no longer just about the hygiene and maintenance of the room. Despite being given a written promise of a refund and a specified payment date, their subsequent withdrawal from this agreement is unacceptable. We have photographs, bank transfer records, WhatsApp conversations, and recordings of the meeting. I am sharing this experience so that those considering making a reservation at Güre Thermal are aware of the situation. I will definitely not choose this again.

The hotel is quiet, but the hot water in the rooms isn't at thermal temperature; in fact, it's cold. Even though it wasn't overly busy, they didn't allow us to stay even half an hour late.
