Atamer Hotel

The hotel is not related to photos. A officially abandoned cenote. There was a nighttime itinerary called the taverna, and you can’t be disturbed by the nighttime sound. Strange women’s voices from the adjacent rooms. It’s obviously used a little off-the-radar.

It is a place where we had to stay for 16 days due to work, and it takes a thousand witnesses to call it a hotel. In the first week, we constantly heard mouse noises on the plasterboard of the room. When we told the reception, they easily said that they would not go down to the rooms and that they always heard that noise. A few days later, a mouse came out of his closet. pic again. When we told them, they easily said that they had encountered such a thing before if there was food in the room. But we did not leave any food out in the open, all of it was packaged and sealed. However, they could have given a warning beforehand for this. But they don't care so much that they don't even seem to think about having it sprayed. We left the hotel after this incident. Besides, everything is very old and falling apart everywhere. Toilet drains stink. The rooms are very noisy. Those who come to do the cleaning leave with slop and slurry. Even when he told her that he had to vacuum under the bed, she found his sense of cleanliness strange. Breakfast is always the same, you will never see a different variety. It's already cold when it happens. Restaurant tablecloths smell bad, at least wash them. There are always stains on the sheets that won't come out. The hotel urgently needs to be renovated from top to bottom. Disinfestation is a must. If you care about cleanliness and comfort, this is a place you will never pass by. As for the good aspects: The employees are trying to help with a smile. But they just work :) because the goods are obvious. Also, one of the cleaner sisters was very sweet. And of course, its location by the sea makes people feel at ease. Still, none of them are enough. I think there is a certain customer base, since there are not many alternatives in Gemlik, those looking for entertainment, alcohol and affordable prices come here directly. Anyone who has self-respect and money will not come here. If there were 0 points, I would give 0. I give 1 point only to the smiling face of the employees.

We were driving outside Istanbul by car and found the hotell right the same night. Outside the Gemlik, you need a car I think, but the view was stunning. Near the sea, view from your room, balcony. Very large room and 2 large beds (the cheapest room). It was quiet outside and inside. I think, the reason was, that we were there in beginning of October. In the season, maybe the situation is different. Also the breakfast was with many options. You can eat outside on the terrace and have a beautiful sea view. Only the coffe was not for my taste (instant??) Also the wifi was good!
