Spa Hotel Colossae Thermal

Quiet, the room is a bit far away and has no balcony, the rooms are clean.

This hotel is not a 5 star hotel. Do not get fooled by the marketing. The service is horrid and the staff are rude. The carpets are unclean and the whole building is engulfed by the stench of cigarettes. The front desk also demands your passport number for access to wifi. Absolutely insane! Avoid this property at all costs!

We visited this hotel with high expectations as it is registered as a 5-star hotel, but the experience was unfortunately not in line with the stars. The positive: The cosy spa and thermal bath with good facilities A large, beautiful outdoor pool. There was a small playroom available, and the waiters in the dining room were always smiling and welcoming. The negative (why this is not 5 stars) The room: There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke when we checked in, and there was sometimes unpleasant smell from the bathroom. Wi-Fi was miserable to non-existent in the room. Services and Facilities: When we asked for two proper glasses in the bar to have in the room, we were refused and instead were consumed with plastic glass. At the outdoor pool there was no serving; one had to go to the bar to order, even though it was nearby. The gym lacked basic equipment such as training mats. Food and Drink: The buffets for breakfast and dinner were large, but the selection was surprisingly uniform. The coffee from the old cappuccino machine was of very poor quality. Such lack of room comfort, service and details make the hotel more like an average 3- or 4-star hotel. It's a nice facility, but the service level must up many heaps to defend 5 stars.
