Dedeman Diyarbakir

This is my second visit to the Plaza Hotel, and I always leave satisfied. I think it's undergoing renovations, and I expect it will be even nicer in its new form. We would like to thank the Plaza Hotel team for their wonderful hospitality.

Large modern hotel well placed near the city centre. But what a pity the entrance and corridors are so COLOURLESS. Ok rooms with wifi - satelite TV - room-safe. The caravanseraglio is a 10 minute walk away. Other sites are the extensive covered bazaar and the visit to the amazing City Walls.

Hotel was relatively cheap and centrally-located. Staff were friendly. Room was spacious. Breakfast was decent. Unlikely i'll return to Diyarbakir, since this was a work trip, but I wouldn't be devastated if I had to stay here again. The one criticism I have is that few of the front-desk staff speak English.
