Grand Hotel Avcilar

I stayed at Grand Hotel Avcilar on multiple occasions whenever I visit Istanbul for work reasons. Their rooms are clean, and the staff is always present to help out. definitely recommend it. It is located really close to the public transport, which makes it easier to go around too.

The hotel is a disaster. The rooms are very small, including a huge column in the middle of the room, which makes it difficult to get into bed. The mattresses are saggy, the pillows are terribly old and totally dirty. The restaurant charged €28 for a pizza, 1 soup, and 1 coke. That's extortionate. Extremely loud.
