Atakoy Marina

It is an old cracked building with noisy ancient AC in smelly rooms. This hotel has no swimming pool. The hotel's pictures show a nice swimming pool which is not belong to the hotel. It is an access to the Sheraton hotel's swimming pool where you can show your hotel card to swim. But you have to walk around one kilometre to reach there in addition to that you need to bring your credit card or cash to pay for drinks or the obligatory 20-dollars shower cap of the indoor pool. In general the staff are very helpful and friendly except the room cleaning team for there work is not good enough. Also one night we came back from outside to find that the room has been left almost the same of how we left it worse yet they have removed the used towels without replacement. Rather than they left the trash container without trash bags. This hotel was not our choice and it will never be. It's a travel agency's voucher of six nights that keeps us to continue spending the rest of nights even though the helpful hotel staff transferred our room first night but almost every thing is out of their hands.

Well I stays for 3 months due to work and really like the location next to Bakirkoy town. If you have seen all the SultanAhmet stuff then its a great location. Anyway, its just a bus ride away and only 20mins if there is no traffic. After 3pm its advisable to use the ferries for transport. Lots of restaurants nearby but a little up market. If not the is Galeria Mall nearby and also Bakirkoy town is just around the corner. Plenty of eateries and shopping there. 2 more malls there too. Breakfast is ok but after a few days it get boring. Rooms are rather old and possible need refurbishment. You can enjoy facilities like pool and gym at Sheraton nearby so its a plus point. Service was poor as we shud receive 2 bottle of water everyday and nobody bothered about it. Once a while you will get it. It was rater noisy if you had your balcony door opened. The aircondition is really old and cannot really cool the room at times.

The hotel location is just perfect,15 min to Atatürk Airport,next to Galeria Shopping Center,5 min walking to transport links buses & Ìdo.Hotel is very clean,3-4 different pillow choices on rooms ,the beds are big and comfortable.This hotel is Ex-Holiday Inn Ataköy Marina Hotel.This hotel is now in partnership of Sheraton Hotels,that is makes it more professional perfect services & cleaning and improves this hotel getting better to meet hotels standarts criteria.The rooms are quite big ,with Atakoy Marina & sea view and nice balcony.Kettle ,Iron and safety box is on room that it was very helpful.We really loved this hotel.Will choose this hotel definitely on my next trip.Thanks
