Citadel

This hotel really exceeded our expectations. It is in a wonderful location just a 10 minute walk from Sultanahmet square. We initially got a double room but then asked for an upgrade and the staff were extremely helpful. All of them at the desk were so friendly and attentive. Special mention for Murat who made us feel at home and made sure we had the best stay. My little one Yahya was so sad to leave him and left him a lovely note on departure. This just goes to show the hospitality was impeccable by Murat and also the other reception staff there. Leyla was great with the cleaning and was always on hand to help us with any issues regarding housekeeping she was such a lovely kind lady. Our room had the best sea view of the Bosporous and there was no noise during the night which helps especially being in Istanbul. The breakfast also had everything you can think of. The breakfast staff brought out fresh pancakes and fruit for the kids without even asking which was such a lovely touch. All in all I can’t fault this hotel and the staff absolutely incredible service. Thank you everyone at the hotel and thank you Murat for being such a kind human being.

KALANDAR on the front desk, Wow what a welcome. He is a valuable asset to Radisson. The other staff on front desk was also very welcoming and very helpful. KALANDAR recommended a really lovely guide (Hussein) who showed us all the sights, he was knowledgeable and would recommend him highly. Nice Clean hotel, great location and friendly staff. The boat for the trip on the Bosporus is directly in front of the hotel and we definitely recommend this trip good value at 20 Euros per person. Chris and G

The hotel was very good in terms of cleanliness and location. The entire team, especially the reception staff, was very attentive and helpful. The only negative point is that I would have preferred the quality of the breakfast items to be better, especially the baked goods, which I think are fresher.
