Our stay at Peak Star Hotel was absolutely wonderful! The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and so close to everything. The staff was very helpful and spoke great English. A nice place for a short trip. We'll definitely stay here the next time we’re back

Review for Peakstar Istanbul: The hotel makes a good impression from the outside. Inside it is dark and old, it smells of cigarette smoke and musty. The reception is not necessarily friendly rather the opposite. Blablabla, room card and please go on or to the room. The next one, please. The room makes a first clean impression if you don't look in the corners. The room is old and the floor "strong " in need of renovation. It is very small, about 8 - 10 sqm. There is a broom cupboard available of 50 cm width intended as a wardrobe. Inside up a shelf underneath you can hang something. We have to live out of the suitcase the booked six days. Almost like camping. Can't do it!!! We've never seen anything like this. Bed width approx. 1.60 m. Sleeping on top of each other is better. Many Arab guests live here with many children who also make the nights a sleepless night. That's not acceptable. Crash without end!!! Complaint is ignored, what else. The TV in the room did not work for two days. A technician had to come after tens of battery replacement attempts. Our room was cleaned only on complaint at after 16:00. The room cards don't work 95%, which means you have to go back to the reception from the fifth floor. The elevator stops at the breakfast room about 15 cm below the floor, see pictures. Great tripping danger!!! My wife fell as a result. We reported this but neither came an apology nor similar from the reception or the manager Dogan. I can't do it. An elevator that does not work belongs immediately shut down!!! Human lives are in danger. Who takes responsibility, the manager? The toilets at the reception, men and women were completely dirty, lacking toilet paper, soap and towels. Just disgusting. The floor was disgusting wet and damp, urine?. On notice was cleaned, 50%. Ditto the next day. The coffee machine in the breakfast room would need to be cleaned if it worked. It's best to get a new one. There are many people there every day. The breakfast buffet is not nearly similar to the hotel Website. All boring and triest. Also there trip hazards or you have to pull your head in so you don't hurt your head. Complaints are not readily accepted. I was totally ignored. The manager Dogan is denied and evades his responsibility. No feedback or a personal interview could be obtained in response to several requests. My conclusion is that two stars are too many and one is justified. Here the whole team should be swapped, starting with the manager Dogan without ass in his pants. Recommend equal to zero.

We are a travel agency (JUST TRAVEL IT) and booked for two families at Pike Star Hotel Istanbul. As soon as our guests arrived, no booking was recognized, despite several confirmations made and paid. The hotel demanded an additional payment of €200 by threatening immediate eviction. Even after this payment, they stated that without confirmation before 10am the next day, our guests had to leave the hotel. The staff were rude, firm and disrespectful, which is totally unacceptable in a tourist country. Faced with this humiliation, our guests had to leave the hotel in the middle of the night, stressed and disturbed. Three valid reservations existed in our system, but none were respected. The result: financial loss, total disorganization and enormous harm to our customers. We strongly discourage this property, which does not respect its commitments or its guests.
