Marble Hotel

WE BOOKED FOR 2 NIGHTS, BUT LEFT AFTER 1 NIGHT. STAY AWAY FROM THIS AT ALL COSTS!! ROOM 1505!! We booked for two nights, but the room was absolutely unacceptable, so we had to leave the hotel after only one night. This is advertised as a 4-star hotel, but in my opinion, it's at best a 1-star. It was the dirtiest and most disgusting hotel room I've ever stayed in. ROOM The room contained soiled sheets, a heavily stained mattress, and an extremely dirty mattress protector with wet stains on it. These stains resembled blood, urine, and other bodily fluids. When reception couldn't provide us with another room, a cleaning lady was sent to change the bed and mattress protector and to thoroughly clean the room. However, the so-called thorough cleaning was completely inadequate. The next morning, we noticed the bed frame was even dirtier. Moreover, there wasn't even a proper fitted sheet; just a loose sheet had been thrown over the bed. Under the other bed, we found trash. Among them were cigarette pack plastics and a few seemingly used chewable tobacco pouches. BATH The bathroom was covered in mold and dirt. There were hairs and fur on the tiles and all over the bathroom. The shower was so dirty that I didn't even have to take my Crocs off while showering; I wore them on. The curtains were also heavily stained and dirty. Even the window overlooking the inner courtyard, which offered no view whatsoever, was extremely dirty. NOISY If you could overlook all the filth, sleeping in the room was like sleeping in the middle of Taksim Square; plus, our room overlooked the inner courtyard. Throughout the night, there was a constant stream of horns, beeps, and sirens. The rooms have almost no sound insulation. We could hear the elevator constantly going up and down, other guests, people coming out of their rooms, shouting, and doors slamming shut throughout the night. THE RETURN PROCESS WAS A COMPLETE FIASCO. Upon checking out, we finally spoke directly with the hotel manager, Ferit. He explicitly told us he would give us a full refund. After that, we had to spend about five hours in the hotel lobby trying to resolve the refund issue. We were told that the reservation was made through a third-party provider and that the hotel's approval was required for the refund to be processed. Although Ferit told us we would receive a full refund upon checkout, he later did not confirm this refund. Therefore, the information we were told directly upon departure did not match the information we received later. Ferit was also there while she spent hours on the phone trying to resolve the issue. From our perspective, he seemed to be smiling as if he found the situation amusing, and even seemed to be mocking it. Eventually, we had to leave the hotel and find ourselves another place to stay. The photos we have included show the actual condition of room number 1505. We booked for 2 nights. We stayed for one night. We wasted about 5 hours of our holiday trying to resolve the refund issue. TOWER OF TERROR The hotel's name says it all. I definitely do not recommend it and I will never stay here again.

BOOKED 2 NIGHTS, LEFT AFTER 1. AVOID!! ROOM 1505!! Booked two nights through Agoda and checked out after just one because the condition of the room was unacceptable. This is a 1* hotel being advertised a 4* hotel. The dirtiest most disgusting room I have ever stayed in The room had dirty sheets, a badly stained mattress and a filthy mattress protector with wet patches. These stains appeared to be blood and urine and other bodily fluids. When reception couldn’t offer us another room, a cleaner was sent up to replace the mattress and protectors along with a deep clean. The deep clean was questionable. The following morning we discovered the replacement mattress was even dirtier, there wasn’t even a proper fitted sheet, just a loose sheet thrown over the mattress. There was litter under the other mattress which was cigarette wrapper plastic and what appeared to be several chewable tobacco pouches. The bathroom was covered in mould and grime, with hairs on the tiles and throughout the bathroom. The shower was so filthy that I had to wear Crocs while showering. The curtains were also badly stained. The window with no view was filthy. If you can look past all of the dirt, the room was like sleeping in the middle of Taksim Square even though it was an internal courtyard. Constant beeping and sirens all night. Rooms have no soundproofing, hearing the elevator going up and down. Other guests in there rooms. People coming from there rooms shouting slamming doors all throughout the night. On checkout, we finally spoke to the manager Ferit, who told us directly that he would provide a full refund. We then spent approximately five hours sitting in the hotel lobby dealing with Agoda trying to get the refund processed. Agoda explained that the booking was through the third-party supplier Hotelbeds and needed confirmation from the hotel. Despite what Ferit had told us, he did not confirm the full refund to Agoda. What we were told directly at checkout therefore did not match what was subsequently communicated to Agoda. While we were spending hours on the phone trying to resolve it, Ferit was present and, from our perspective, appeared to be smirking and seemed to find the situation amusing. We eventually had to leave and find alternative accommodation. The photographs attached show the actual condition of the room. Booked for 2 nights. Stayed 1. Five hours of our holiday wasted trying to resolve the refund. TOWER OF TERROR. Would not recommend nor would I stay here again.

It was a perfect stay, they were helpful in every way, excellent team.
