The Green Park Hotel Taksim

I stayed at The Green Park Taksim for three nights, and unfortunately, this was a disappointing stay. The problems started as soon as we entered the room. It clearly did not feel properly cleaned — there were footprints on the bed runner, one of the towels had a visible stain, and several basic amenities were missing, including tissues, coffee/tea supplies, a toothbrush and toothpaste. The door lock was also sticking and difficult to use. We reported everything to reception and asked them to either resolve the issues or change our room if they were unable to do so. Unfortunately, the response was very limited. They brought us some towels and coffee supplies, but most of the problems were simply left unresolved. The service was another major disappointment. Most of the staff have very limited English, making communication unnecessarily difficult. Even more concerning was the attitude of some employees. On several occasions, basic greetings were ignored, and some interactions felt unnecessarily rude and unwelcoming. On our last night, we ran out of drinking water in the room. I called reception to ask for more, only to be told that we would have to pay extra for it. Considering the category and price level of the hotel, I found this quite disappointing. Also worth mentioning: there are no irons available in the hotel, so keep that in mind if you’re staying for several days. The location is really the only significant advantage. Being in Taksim makes it convenient for getting around Istanbul, with plenty of restaurants, shops and transportation options nearby. Unfortunately, a good location cannot compensate for poor housekeeping, unresolved maintenance issues and inconsistent service. Overall, I expected considerably better from a hotel of this standard and would not choose to stay here again.

The worst experience ever, stay away from that place, not even worth $20 believe me, deceitful rude and entitle staff who thinks they know it all, they lie to your face and when you confront them no apologies and think it's totally normal to sell you spa with all amenities and nothing working...AVOID IF TUEY SIGFEST OR OFFER ITS A HARD NO
