Vault Karakoy The House Hotel

A lovely, and very centrally located Istanbul hotel. Beautiful amenities, gorgeous rooms with high ceilings, a stunning view from the rooftop bar, and a delicious breakfast buffet. So glad we stayed here for our three nights in Istanbul!

I stayed at this hotel for three nights, from August 20 to 23. I initially chose it because it was a Marriott property, as I have always trusted Marriott and have high expectations when it comes to its service and standards. Unfortunately, this hotel was a major disappointment. The biggest issue was the staff. At every other Marriott property I have stayed at, I have experienced attentive, professional, and genuinely guest-focused service. Here, however, the staff showed very little attention, effort, or interest in the guest experience. Having visited several well-known branded restaurants in Istanbul during the same trip, I could clearly see the significant difference between genuinely high-quality service and the level of service provided at this hotel. unfortunately, this experience fell far below the standards I associate with Marriott. I would not stay at this hotel again, and I would not recommend it to others.

A truly wonderful hotel experience made possible by best in class service from an exceptional front desk team in particular. Arguably the best located hotel in Istanbul. Conveniently positioned but also feels like an oasis when you return from the hum of the city. Rooms are generous and well appointed as are the bathrooms and a day spa visit for a Turkish bath and massage are absolutely recommended for the traveler. It’s a unique experience and a must do. Value for the quality of the experience given the staff attention to your enjoyment and for the best location in Istanbul
