AGAOGLU MY VILLAGE RESIDENCE HOTEL

It seems to me very fascinating to stay in a place next to the factory which I worked. This hotel is very lovely,quiet,nice with very friendly staff. Internet available in rooms and also room service looks good .I was a regular customer of this hotel and I highly recommend this hotel for those who want to pass a peaceful night after a day of hard work. When you are there don't forget to try KUZU and RAKI.

This was my second trip to Turkey and I chosen to stay at this hotel because it was close to the place where i had the meetings with my partners. I had quite high expectations from a hotel in Turkey as i heard they are very nice to tourists, very hospitable and generally good with tourists. well, the room was nice but nothing special , the food was ok and the swimming pool was good after being in traffic few hours to/from my meetings. Staff was ok and quite friendly even though they did not speak extremely well English:)

I stayed in My village residence last year during family gathering for the wedding ceremony of my brother. Since we are a large family some of us stayed at my brothers and the rest took the hotel rooms in My village Residence. Notable thing about this place is, that its one of a kind on Asian side of Istanbul. And the price is dirt cheap! Seriously, you need to check this out for yourself to believe it. Firstly, we were thinking of the other usual hotels in the area, which are near bosphorus and would have put a whole in our wallet. We discovered this totally by chance through the net and after calling them up found out the rates were weekly based and very cheap - i guess $140 for 7 days! unbelievable. There is a swimming pool inside, free turkish breakfast and lovely quiet environment. If you are visiting Istanbul, specially if your business / pleasure is on Asian side of Bosphorus, do check this out. http://www.myvillageresidence.com/
