Amira Hotel

The hotel was charming with beautiful features such as the staircase and the chandelier in Reception. The bedding was pristine and rooms were changed daily, if required. The dining room was very pleasant and the breakfast was varied. The Turkish lady present in the adjoining room made delicious flatbreads while you waited! The roof bar, with three different level terraces, had an amazing view of Lake Marmara and the roof-tops around the hotel. Most importantly, the staff were lovely and so polite. They were warm and welcoming. They greeted you with smiles and were ready to help in any way. In particular, the Manager, Volkan Kiziltas was wonderful. His English was excellent, He was charming, informed and gave good advice relating to our planned visits. he spared a little time to chat, when not busy and contributed to the enjoyment of our stay at Hotel Amira. Would we go back there? In a heart-beat!

The hotel staff were so helpful and nice! It was like visiting long lost family that instantly made us feel at home from the second we arrived. They helped us plan outings, dinner, Turkish bath and everything they helped us plan was perfect! The breakfast was amazing! We would love to come back to Istanbul and we’d definitely stay in the same place.

This hotel is in a fabulous location. Walking distance to attractions and bazaars and public transport to take you to others. Lots of restaurants close by. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate, but the lady making the fresh gozlemes was an added bonus. Room was spacious, and though dated was clean and tidy. Rooftop bar was a great way to end the day, with a fantastic view. Loved our stay
