I had a nice stay at Anitta hotel. The room was nice and had a great view. At breakfast, there is a great view of hot air balloon. The owner was nice, but the water did not work temporarily the night I was staying. But when it worked, hot water was available. Good location to visit rose valley.

This was our first visit to Cappodoccia and we loved it!
We booked up the hotel in advance at Fethiye coach station and travelled 12 hours overnight arriving at 4am in Goreme and we told there would be someone there to meet us and pick us up from the coach and there was! That was the start of really good service and help in making the most of our three day visit. The hotel owner, Ur, was extremely helpful. We had booked a tour In advance at Fethiye and it was brilliant. My husband and I were the only ones but we had personal service and visited all the places we wanted to, underground city, Selime monastery, Ihlara valley etc. the hotel also organised a tour for us the next day which again we thoroughly enjoyed.
The hotel is simple and homey but very friendly, ensuite rooms, nice breakfast, great for a short stay as most visits tend to be in the region.
Cauvsin is a very small village but the hotel is right opposite the old village and caves which is on the tourist route with lots of coaches stopping by. We climbed to the top (twice in three days) and there are amazing views as well as a cafe on top to sit down and enjoy the views!
Booking up so far away we had a few reservations about our trip. We have never travelled by public transport in Turkey before but the coach (we travelled Metro and they sorted the hotel for us) was on time, clean, plenty of leg room, films and TV with a airplane style consol (better than UK coaches!) ok the films were inTurkish but they were Hollywood films dubbed and helped pass the time. A long trip overnight from Fethiye but a good journey, stops and free refreshments with a trolley, airline style service.
We've been to Turkey many times but this is the first time we been on a road trip like this as we've wanted to visit Cappodoccia for ages and were not disappointed. The area is amazing, the views and history fantastic, the hospitality great, the hotel service was brilliant and made our stay. We would thoroughly recommend.

I stayed this for two nights. Overall it is 'ok', for 30 TL you get your own single room with ensuite bathroom. I was referred here by the Hermosa tour in Pamukkale. I did not know this place was actually not in Goreme and it is about 4km away from Goreme. The owner is nice but don't trust a single sale pitch he is trying to make you believe. First of all, he works with Kaya Balloon, I signed up from Pamukkale with Sahin which is owner's cousin. I end up going up with 'Istanbul balloon' instead without any prior notices. I paid $100 euro for my standard balloon ride, and they were trying to sell to the people for $150 euro.
Then i said to the owner that it was his cousin who i purchased the tour from, and they did promise me is Kaya balloon. The owner said they are the same company, so I must had paid cheaper so they tell me to go on the cheap 'brand' and then he said because i booked it from Pamukkale so he has no control over it. What kind of tour packages that people sells here in Turkey, as if nothing is guaranteed!
And then I asked about my bus from Cappadocia to Kahta to get to Mt. Nermut. He was trying to get me to go on the tour. I refused, and then he told me that he can reserve the bus ticket and I can go to bus terminal to talk to the people who are selling the tickets. And when I get to this bus company called 'Suha' in the centre of Goreme. The older guy pretend he does not understand English as I asked him what is the breakdown of '70TL' that they are trying to charge me to go from Goreme to Kahta. He pretended that he does not understand what i was asking. And then under all the frustration, I paid to just get my ticket sorted. And before I paid, the guy was angry because I was about to cancel the reservation of the bus ticket, and the owner of Anitta Cave Hotel adding the pressure saying 'you don't have much choice, not many company goes to Kahta'. And once I paid, for some reason the station owner now with smiles and speaks English.
So, when I actually took the bus to go from Goreme to Kayseri, I have to change a bus and wait. I went to the booth of the bus company which I will be taking from Kayseri to Kahta. The ticket itself was 40 TL instead of 55 TL that Suha bus station owner in Goreme told me.
Now I learn one thing, never book any tour or buy any bus ticket from other cities unless the city is where the bus or the tour starts.
Everyone in Turkey is trying to cut a commission here and they would try to cover themselves with any ridiculas excuse possible so you will believe that if you don't book now, you will pay more later.
If you want quite nights and view to the morning balloon in the valley, Anitta cave hotel is perfect for it. But it is not close to the supermarket or banks. So you will need to sort out your transportation if you are going into town a lot.
The rooms are fine, but my room is just a regular room, it doesn't look like a cave at all. In fact, the entire hotel look like a normal hotel (maybe 2 star), it lacks of the character that most of the hotel offers in Goreme.
