Armada Istanbul Old City Hotel

The hotel has a great location. We arrived by subway and tram; the walk from the stop was short. The stop for the boat trip is also reachable in 5 minutes. Our room was pleasantly furnished and clean. The staff at the reception were really super helpful. There was a very rich and delicious breakfast in the restaurant on the roof terrace with a view of the water and the sights.

Great location but rooms were a bit old a tired. Decor could have done with being updated. Ensuites seemed particularly dated. Long walk from reception to the room, miles of corridors. No facilities to speak of like a gym or a pool. Breakfast buffet was OK, we had better but we had worse too.

Recommended by a friend, we stayed at this hotel with a beautiful retro atmosphere. What I will always remember is a particular scent when you enter the lobby, which is large and spacious with a display of antique objects. Spacious, quiet, and clean room with a view of the Bosphorus. Excellent, abundant, and varied breakfast. Thanks for everything
