Armagrandi Spina Hotel

The hotel is centrally located, 150 meters from the square between Sultanahmet and Aya Sofya, (you can also access from the rear entrance from the parking lot located to the left of the police barrier). It is 300 meters from the tram stop and 400 meters from the metro, (we used public transport to reach Sabiha airport). Located in a pedestrian area, it is extremely quiet, with only the chirping of birds in the morning. The breakfast room is magnificent, offering views of Sultanahmet, Hagia Sophia, and the sea, with a breathtaking panorama. The buffet breakfast is good, with both sweet and savory options, featuring a different cake and a different Turkish dish each day. Our room, on the 2nd floor, overlooked the parking lot but had views of Turbesi and Hurrem Sultan, as well as partial views of the mosques. The room is spacious, with two windows, clean, a quiet air conditioner, light switches and outlets by the bedside, blackout curtains, and a large, comfortable bed. To provide optimal comfort, a full-length mirror, drawers, and since there is a kettle, it would be nice to leave tea/herbal tea/instant coffee packets. The bathroom is definitely small but functional, with a large shower and a sink with a countertop and electrical outlet. All the staff are kind, friendly, and very helpful, attentive to your needs. The quality-price ratio is excellent. We have been to Istanbul 11 times, but this is the hotel that has best met our needs; we will definitely return.

We were guests at this hotel from May 23 to May 27, 2026. There is really nothing (or almost nothing) to criticize about it. The room was perfectly fine, breakfast was more than enough and had a lot of variety. The only complaint I had was the noise from the elevator, which affected all rooms with the ending number X06. Perhaps some soundproofing could be installed here. (A little hint! ;-) )
