Overall, the service is really good, the staff at the front desk are very kind and help you with anything you need for example we needed an iron and it was delivered to our room in less than 10 minutes. The rooms are very unique which I really liked, it kind of feels like you’ve been transported back in time and the concept of each room having a corresponding family member of the sultan is also very cool. The only reason that this is a 4 and not a 5 is the noise at night, this hotel is located on a main road which means there’s always traffic and always beeping, we initially had a room on the 3rd floor but then moved to the 5th floor because it was so loud, if you are a light sleeper I wouldn’t recommend staying on the lower floors. In terms of location it’s a 5/5 the local neighbourhood is so cute and you are a 5 minute walk away from istiklal street. If you want to explore the local area I’d recommend Pera cafe and the neighbouring bookstore. And the view from the rooms are breathtaking.

I came to Istanbul for the weekend and chose this magnificent hotel for one night only – and it turned out to be a miracle. The hotel is practically new, but decorated for old, so it gives the feeling of a real palace: everything is very refined and beautiful, I really felt like a princess. My room was overlooking the Bosphorus and the rooftops of Istanbul. A king bed, luxurious textiles, a gold mirror with built-in TV, a beautiful sink and plenty of thoughtful details. All shampoos, conditioners and lotions are tastefully selected - from such a room did not even want to leave. The hotel staff were very attentive: checked me in early, told me where what was, gave me tea and recommended a good and inexpensive spa in the nearby hotel. The hotel itself is incredibly atmospheric: an ancient golden elevator, paintings on the floors, a beautiful reception and a small cozy cafe. In the morning, there was a varied and hearty breakfast on the roof with stunning views of Istanbul, the Bosphorus and the Galata Tower — even honey in the honeycomb. There were many cafes, shops, a jazz club, a jetty and the Galata Bridge nearby - a very convenient place to walk. When I checked out, I was allowed to leave my things. In the evening, I returned before the airport, I was given tea again, and I left Istanbul happy and eager to return. I realized that Istanbul should be studied gradually, paying special attention to each part of it. Next time, I'll definitely pick a hot tub room and stay here again.
