Diamond City Istanbul

Lovely peoples and very friendly everything is excellent we was very happy this hotel is really diamond it is my advice to every one this is the best hotel and very good people I hade the best holiday in my life I am Lucy I got this wonderful place

As agreed room were expected to be a sea view , but were not!! Staff at reception was arrogant to say you call you Expedia , it's expedia's problem , he even didn't say sorry. No lift has to Cary luggage up stairs Bathroom is too small Electricity in my children's room had amine of its own , Electric wires were sticking out of the wall in the bathroom Old unused metal heating system pipes sticking out of the walls , very dangerous . For childs . Breakfast was ok , beach was nice. , would be better with some maintainance and definitely reception staff needs a lot of customer service training . To be fair , a couple were not good but the rest were v. Good

The hotel is located just behind the Olivium outlet center which has a wide variety for bargain shopping. This can be its best advantage. It is a 5-10 minutes walk to the Kazlicesme metro station which can take you around to the old city. You can also take a minibus from Olivium to Zeytinburnu metro station which does take quite a lot of time to get there as the minibus appears to run through the whole neighborhood before it stops at the final station. In terms of cleanliness I should say that the rooms were clean. I do not recommend you to stay at the last floor as the noise from the chairs moving in the restaurant will annoy you 24/7. We complained about the sound and we were given another room which was also not sound-free. The reception was not fluent in English which was hard to communicate with. Also the walls of the rooms were very thin and you could hear the sound of your neighboring residents. The breakfast buffet was fine. The WiFi kept on disconnecting in our room and we had too reconnect to 3 different accounts each time. The overall service was not like a 4* considering the fact that you could not ask for any service because of the poor English! My experience: you can find better hotels with better location and service at the same price in Istanbul.
