GRAND ORAL HOTEL

They stole money from the room using counterfeit money. So be careful with money and valuables, this is the only way maids steal. At the reception they shrugged their shoulders and did not offer an apology or compensation. Ruined the whole holiday

We stayed in that hotel for two nights and we will NEVER go AGAIN! It was a more than negative experience. ZERO cleaning! First night when you assume that everything should be OK, the linen was stained. Second night the towels were the same but folded. We asked for a change and they brought us more towels, but they too were washed poorly. Shower cubicle was broken and the glass remained open. Toothbrush holder under the mirror was missing. It was hot but there were no sheets in the room, only quilts. In the canteen you take bread with your hands, no tongs.

We went out of our way to go the carvery lunch in the Oriel , having seen many ads recently. We went into the restaurant at 2pm .....nobody serving and one girl working the whole room. We asked if lunch was being served and she told us that " Yes " , and to take a seat. We sat and sat and sat ....and nobody came near us. No sign of food , or chefs , or menus. We left and had lunch in another local establishment. Very disappointed. Does the Oriel serve carvery lunch , or not ???????.
