Harmony Pension Istanbul

The location of the hotel was the main thing I reserved this hotel for since I had previously stayed somewhere else near Sultan Ahmed. The booking was for my father-in-law and mother-in-law, and my wife's family. But after arrival, we noticed that the triple room not only requires you to go down the stairs, a very steep one indeed, but also you'd have to pass in front of everyone in the restaurant. The reception Kadir, was the most rude and insincere person that you can see in your life, don't trust him or the manager. My family stayed there only for one night even though we had booked it for a whole week, plus another room for myself which I wanted to join them. Morning breakfast was as awful as it can get. No air conditioning at all, all the vegies were spoiled and we couldn't eat anything. Around 11 we emptied the room, and booked another hotel for the whole week. We requested them to refund us since we were leaving the hotel, which obviously they refrained, and not only this, but they opened the booking up again on the Booking.com platform. On the reservation, it says that Upper Floors Are Accessible by stairs in a part of the main ameneties, but doesn't specifically mention this triple room. I had read the reviews before this and knew some rooms had this case, but all were noted as double rooms. Also, they hadn't mentioned that you had to past the restaurant. If you're used to 4 star hotels, NEVER EVER book this hotel, cuz to be honest, it's the worst 3 star at it's best. Total scam, I lost plus £700 when I even didn't stay at this hotel.

Everything was wonderful, hygiene is the most important thing for me and it was spotless, we loved it.

We stayed in September and were very pleased. The hotel was clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The location and service quality were excellent. A hotel we would choose again and can recommend with complete confidence.
