Hotel Antea

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel in a good area. All the major sights and museums are within walking distance. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. It is near a tram stop, which is essential for travelling around Istanbul.

Negatives: -run down hotel in desperate need of reforms as outdated and damaged installations. - tiny outdated room as not the room advertised by Agoda. Misled/fraud. - views facing old buildings despite previous request -dated and damaged spa. Tiny swimming with cameras in top. Not safe for women’s privacy. -dry sauna not working -mould in shower -steep small dangerous roads to town centre (20 minutes )due to ongoing inconsiderate fast and heavy traffic. Positives - “Droni”make tall receptionist and cleaning lady nice, efficient and kind. -nice breakfast but repetitive and not good bread, meat or juices. -laid back and art deco hotel.
