Hotel Sultanhan

First of all this hotel is located in a prime location just steps away from all the major attractions and the tram station. But that is where the good part ends. The hotel is not at all what it looks like in the pictures. It is not well maintained. The lobby is used as storage space for all kinds of stuff and is dark in the evening. At least turn on all the lights. We we reached our room in a hot July weather we found out the air conditioning did not work. When pointed out hotel solution was to open the window which did not help much. The bathroom had broken fixtures like toilet paper holder. The hotel is not well maintained. We cannot comment on the breakfast as we did not stay to experience it. But it must have a beautiful view. We could not stay here so we decided to move to another hotel. Stay away from this shabby place

With my family of 4 people, we stayed for 2 nights at this hotel and had an excellent experience. The location is one of its strong points, a few steps from the main attractions of Sultanahmet, which allows you to explore the area on foot with total comfort. The room was comfortable and pleasant for us, ideal for resting after a day of sightseeing. We also want to highlight the kindness and good disposition of all the staff, who always served us with a smile. A detail that we especially valued was the possibility of having coffee free of charge in the lobby at any time, a small gesture that made the stay even more pleasant.

Welcoming staff. Chic and spacious entrance hall. Comfortable and quiet room with stylish furnishings. Restaurant with a view of the Bosphorus. Delicious buffet breakfast featuring, among other things, fresh honey from the hive. Two minutes from the tram.
