Huxley Hotel Old City

The hotel was great, the location near Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque... I booked for a double room with twin beds and when we arrived they gave us a triple room (as a bonus they said). It was amazing because I had a double bed just for myself at a very, very cheap price. The room was great, the heat was at its maximum and in the first 2 nights we slept with window open. In the bathroom we had towels, shampoo, soap... Whatever, for the price we paid (72 euro for 4 nights... 36 euro for each and I had double bed <3) it was more than we expected. So I was very satisfied.

Just take a look at the photos - no comment is needed. A big mistake I made to go there after the recommendation from my originally booked hotel (Ercan Inn, see the review). The room was pure dirt (literally and metaphorically). It was wintertime then so I was lucky the fauna was still hibernated. That's why my photos are a bit less shocking than the others' ;) It's located quite close - 15mins of walk - to Sultan Ahmet Camii and Ayasofya (Hagia Sophia). But at night some may find the street a bit scary as it's dark and empty.

We reserved a triple-bed room and instead of that, we got an "apartment" with an only kingsize bed. The three of us slept in the bed for two but that was not the worst... room had snails, dirt and mold everywhere, furniture demolished and old. TV didn't work, heating worked only in one room... The only good thing was location, everything else was a disaster. Hassan, you will have to do invest a lot of effort, knowledge and money if you want to run a "hotel".
