Luxurious Hotel and Nice Staff . close to Airport

Convenient to the airport, but far from 5 stars If you need to take a flight from Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, this hotel has an advantage that is hard to ignore: it is just 3 km away, reachable by bus with a stop practically in front of the entrance, in about 15 minutes. For a transit stop it is really ideal. ✓ STRENGTHS The hotel is large, with many spacious and comfortable rooms. The staff is the real strength: kind, helpful and always ready to help. The sauna is great and the price is competitive compared to the area. For those seeking proximity to the airport at a reasonable cost, these goals are met. ✗ POINTS OF WEAKNESS The decor is dated and the property could use a nice refresh. The bathroom is disappointing: the shower is anything but 5 stars. The spa area leaves something to be desired: both the relaxation room and the pool were cold, and there is no fruit or refreshment — an unacceptable shortcoming at this level. On the cleaning front, at check-in I found in the refrigerator a bottle of water already opened. A seemingly small detail, but one that speaks volumes about the lack of attention of the cleaning staff during the preparation of the room. It is not allowed in a hotel that defines itself as 5 stars. Breakfast is perhaps the most distant point from expectations: little variety, mediocre quality coffee, vegetables served cold. There is a possibility to request freshly prepared eggs and pancakes, but no one tells you spontaneously — you should at least indicate this with a tag or communicate it at check-in. Nearby there are some restaurants, but the quality of the food is average and no one serves alcohol. It's worth knowing before you arrive. Bottom line: in Europe it would be quietly classified as a 3-star superior. Fine as an airport hotel — comfortable, spacious and with a good staff — but if quality food, cleanliness and spa services matter to you, I recommend looking elsewhere. Book it for location, not experience.

I stayed at the hotel for two nights and received a very warm welcome upon arrival. I was upgraded to a nicer room than the one I booked, and it was free of charge, which I really appreciated. The rooms were very clean, and there was a lovely scent in the hallways. It's also quite close to the airport. The breakfast was excellent, with a great buffet and many options. I would recommend it to everyone. I used the spa one evening; the Turkish bath and sauna were very nice. All the staff were friendly.
