Park Residence

I stayed here for 3 nights in July 2014 on a business trip. It was towards the end of Ramadam and the hotel was very quiet. My meetings were happening along the seafront from the hotel and I was free to explore in the evening. The hotel is very close to a strip of restaurants by the shoreline. It is a wonderfully quiet, comfortable place with exellent wi-fi. The room/apartment has a living room/kitchen (with basic utensils, washing machine, fridge and 2 electric hobs), a bedroom and a bathroom. I asked for an ironing board and iron and it was delivered almost immediately. I only ate breakfast here and if you're a fan of bacon and beans you're severely out of luck. It was a very light breakfast and, for me, perfect. One of the staff showed me how to make Turkish tea properly without any prompting and every morning I was waiting for a lift to our meetings and I was constantly offered more tea. I hope that if I go back to Fenerbache, I'll get to stay at Park Residence :)

This is an Aparthotel which is ideal for both business travellers and small families looking to stay somewhere with great space, Kitchen/Lounge, Bedroom, Bathroom. There are only 12 apartments so first come, first served. The staff working at the hotel are superb. If you are visting Istanbul fot the first time or working as I do on the Asia side this is a great location. Situated in a quite street running parallel to one of the Marina's in Fenerbache and opposite the "Tennis Club" its has its own excellent Bistro/Restaurant "Mr Grill" also used for the inclusive breakfasts . A short stroll from the Hotel is the Marina and sea, viewed from Fenebache Park. The hotel rooms are well appointed including Fridge/Washing Machine and even an iron for the more adventurous male . Local shop sells Efees beer for 2 YTL and washing powder !. Also try Devils meat restaurant opposite North Shield's Bar, and the Fenerbache Sport Club Restauarant in Fenerbache Park. Access to European side is easy via the ferry. From the hotel take a taxi ( 10 mins) to either Kadikoy or Bostanci and then jump on the Ferry to Eminonu ( Grand Bazar/Blue Mosque etc) all for 10 YTL taxi and 1.6 YTL for the ferry. Also get to Eminonu and take the "Scenic Bosphourous Tour Ferry" all the way from Marmara sea to Black Sea, (1.5 hours) for 12 YTL return. I have tried other hotels on the Asia side and this one is by far the best I have stayed at, both the quality of the hotel and the wonderful location ( see photo's)
