Q Inn Hotel Old City

The hotel is dated and needs some adjustments, but the location and the staff's availability are definitely a plus. It is just a short walk from the central area of Istanbul and has many places nearby. We dined at the restaurant next to the hotel, also benefiting from a 10% discount because we were hotel guests. If it is only used for spending the night, we recommend it.

So let's analyze: Pros: close to areas of interest, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Great area also to eat cheaply. Cons: rooms (clean), but a bit old, quite noisy, very basic room facilities. Good breakfast but only salty food. Would I recommend it? Sure, especially if you travel for tourism and then stay out of the room all day. But if you are looking for something romantic well this is perhaps not the right place.

Room clean and tidy, aircond and good bed, good hot shower. Breakfast ok. Reception helpful. Location next to station just walking distance few steps. The hotel has small lift fit to 2 persons if you bring luggage. Indoor and outdoor restaurant to have chit chat.
