We were very pleased with our stay in Istanbul. We would especially like to thank Ms. Elif at the reception for her friendly demeanor and attentiveness. Even though we arrived at the hotel 4-5 hours early because we were coming from Germany, they allowed us to check into our room without charging any extra fees. That was a great kindness on our part.
Breakfast was a wonderful surprise. We didn't know it was included in the price, and the variety at the buffet really exceeded our expectations.
We would like to thank the entire team for their hospitality and excellent service. We will definitely choose Fez Inn Hotel again when we come to Istanbul. We definitely recommend it.

The hotel is disgusting. Three of us arrived, me, wife, son of eight years, booked a Superior room across the Island for three for six nights. The first thing we encountered was the lack of a hotel room booked. On the first night, the administration shoved us into a nearby Sirkesi Park Hotel in a room of extremely poor quality, dirty, with virtually no working shower, insufficient space, with leaks on the ceiling. The next morning, we were still offered a room at the Raymond Old City Hotel, which could only be called Superior if there was a very high flight of imagination and self-indulgence. The room was small, it could barely fit the three beds supplied for us, it would be impossible to place normal luggage there, the bathroom and in general the condition of the room was absolutely squalid. The breakfast offered was of poor quality and not suitable for our child's nutrition. It should be said that the photos of the hotel rooms and the generous buffet on the website are completely brazen fakes (of course, there is no complaint against Ostrov, he posted what the hotel provided him, either by simply downloading these photos from the website of some decent establishment or by setting up a one-off decoration in his premises that does not correspond to his real condition). The audience was not particularly pleasant, with whom the hotel was to be next door; there were no Europeans or Russians among them. Perhaps, with great unpretentiousness, it was possible to stay there, but we, without engaging in a clearly futile discussion with the management of Raymond Old City, booked a room in a normal place and left immediately. The cost of accommodation (66 thousand), for which it seems possible to get a room much more decent, we are refused a refund, although we have raised the issue through Ostrovok.

The structure is outdated and not exactly clean. Ours was a family room on the ground floor with two rooms, one of which has no windows. The small bathroom and on our arrival the toilet did not work. Fortunately it was repaired immediately but for the three days we slept there there was a general sewer smell coming from the bathroom. The beds are small and particularly uncomfortable. The reception staff was friendly and the breakfast varied although totally Turkish so you have to adapt a lot (Forget croissants and jam pies to be clear). On the other hand the location is convenient to Sultanhamet. I mean, not one of the best places I've stayed in my life and I was glad to leave.
