I had a wonderful stay at the Renaissance Polat Istanbul Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.
From the moment I arrived, the staff were exceptionally professional, friendly, and welcoming. Every member of the team acknowledged guests with a smile, always saying hello and thank you. They genuinely made me feel like I was their most important customer.
The hotel itself is immaculate. The rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The facilities are excellent, with a large, beautiful swimming pool, stunning views over the Sea of Marmara, and plenty of amenities to make your stay enjoyable.
The food was outstanding. Both the breakfast and dinner buffets offered a huge variety of fresh, high-quality dishes. One of my favourite touches was the chef preparing fresh omelettes to order each morning. The restaurant staff were attentive without being intrusive, regularly checking if I needed tea or coffee, keeping my water glass topped up, and making sure I was comfortable throughout every meal.
It’s rare to find a hotel where every member of staff consistently delivers such a high standard of hospitality. Their attention to detail and genuine care for guests really set this hotel apart.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would not hesitate to return. I highly recommend the Renaissance Polat Istanbul Hotel to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, outstanding food, and a relaxing stay in Istanbul.

This is a very nice hotel about 20 minutes taxi from the key tourist centers. I knew the location due to a previous trip and choose it on purpose to get quiet after the first half of our trip was in the city. For those who do want to tour, this can be out of the way. Also, while there are some nearby places to walk and eat, Yeşilyurt is very nice borough, note that their is an incredible lack of Turkish restaurants in the area. That is unusual in other parts of the city where they are lined up. Italian and coffee seem to be a thing in this town along with quality seafood. The hotel Turkish Mediterranean Restaurant is quite good though. This is resort-ish hotel that has nice views and a good pool area by the water. There is a local beach in view but I never figured out how to get there (probably lack of interest on my part). We were in an Ocean Suite with a 180 degree view of the coast which was beautiful. Its like a small apartment I never wanted to leave. No balcony though so it can feel a bit contained. The staff was good but the service line sometimes lacks English language skills (basic for a Marriott brand). The breakfast is good with a fair selection (By comparison, the JW down the road has one of the best breakfast buffets I have ever had, anywhere). The executive lounge is very nice with a view of the pool and a good happy hour. Overall a very good hotel to escape the city but still be close enough to venture in if you like.

This seaside hotel was clean, beautiful and had wonderful food and drinks. We had a large room with very comfortable beds. The pools and workout area were large and inviting. We were there for a family wedding and enjoyed the bar seating and fantastic buffet breakfast. 10/10! Thank you
