Senator Taksim

This was my 2nd visit. Nice hotel, great staff and location. Unfortunately, the hotel was in the midst of a total renovation. I was surprised that it was virtually empty. The construction noise was intolerable. No compensation was offered though I asked. The facility should not have accepted reservations. Bad business practice.

Stayed here with a friend and really liked our stay. The hotel is very close to Taksim Square (2-3 mins walk) and the main shopping street (Istiklal Street) which is a 5 min walk. The Metro is also just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel has all the facilities you would expect. Hotel is very clean and rooms are decent size and has coffee / tea making facilities, locker etc. Staff are incredibly helpful and go out of the way to make your stay pleasant. Special thanks to the manager Mr. Fatih for helping us with our queries and taxi bookings etc. Breakfast has a decent spread though could do with a bit more variety. Location is brilliant and convenient with the Metro, many restaurants and stores at your doorstep. Overall very happy with our stay and would happily stay again if in Istanbul.

Amazing hotel. So unique (converted ottoman mansion) and beautiful big rooms and clean plus helpful staff too. Location is perfect 5 min walk to Blue Mosque and short walks to all the sites we wanted to see. Highly recommend! (Picture of breakfast area, breakfast included)
