Sultanahmet Cesme Hotel

Our Istanbul stay was made all the more enjoyable by the assistance offered and given by Tekin and ALL the staff. Nothing was ever a problem. Proximity to old town attractions was perfect. Rooms were comfortable and had everything needed, great value . Breakfast and setting were very good. Recommendations for a hamam and restaurants were spot on. Loved Istanbul, hope to be back.

Convenient for reaching the points to visit. Breakfast: unclassifiable! For me, as I love a sweet breakfast, all week there were only packaged pastries and that's it. Coffee and hot drinks from a machine. The old television didn't work for me or the rest of the guests! There is a guy who pretends to fix it, but in reality, he can't do much if the television needs to be thrown away! Finally, the air conditioning blows directly onto the bed, so you either freeze or, if you turn it off, you die of heat. The cleanliness was nothing special; towels always had some stains, and the sheets weren't very clean either. Finally, the shower tiles were the same as the floor, and with a little water, it becomes slippery. Finally, there is no elevator, and there are very narrow and dangerous stairs to get to the floors, therefore it is absolutely not suitable for a disabled person.

We arrived at Sultanhamet C,esme Hotel on a Sunday morning tired from a Singapore flight. The Owner/Manager of this small family hotel was at reception to welcome us. The latter allowed us an early check-in. As the hotel wasn't equipped with a lift, the staff brought our suitcases in our room, allocated on the third floor. The room was comfortable for the three of us. Breakfast was served on the next level every morning on the terrace where we could admire the view over Istanbul as well on the Bosphorus. All the attractions were accessible within minutes from our hotel. This hotel is located in a strategic location surrounded by eateries, laundrette & other shopping facilities. Thanks for having us at your esteemed establishment.
