Taksim 9 Suites

I really like this place, 9 appartments very close to Taksim Square and the Iskalder street. Rooms are not so big; but everything you need is inside. I was in apartment 5 which has a small balcony. The only 2 points are that the stairs are a bit narrow with your luggage and that I couldn't blind all of my windows. The bathroom is good with a nice shower. You get ur own key for your room and the complex it self. For sure i will come back again... no hills to walk up or down, supermarkt close aswell as the metro and airport busses

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights along with a group of 6 friends. We had the room at the 4th floor and there wasn't an elevator!!! The lack of the elevator was not mentioned anywhere and the stairs were narrow and steep,making really difficult to carry luggage at the top floor. I had ask for an early check in at 7am and I was told that the room would be ready by the time of our arrival. We arrived approximately at 9:30 and the room was not ready. We only saw an Asian lady and we had a few problems to communicate with her. She told me that the room would be ready not later than 12. The room was ready at 2:30...There's no place to leave your luggage, apart from the unattended lobby, which is also too small for that. Before we even got in our room we had to pay and only cash was accepted for some reason. Fortunately I had Turkish liras with me. I was told that I would get the recipient later but I insisted on getting a recipient the same time since I paid. When we finally get to go to our room, we were really disappointed... The room was filthy, the "clean" towels were dirty, there weren't enough toiletries and we even found crumbs... The toilet paper was probably what was left from the previous group that stayed at the room and we had to ask twice to get some. The only good thing was the Internet connection and the location. The connection was was good enough for everyone to use at the same time and the location was really convenient. However, I would recommend to pay a little bit more if you can and stay in one of the other hotels in that area.

This apartment complex is close to Taksim square & all the shopping & night life. The workers within the apartment complex were very friendly & helpful. The only thing I found let the place down was when it rained there was a constant leak from the window which kept me awake. The kitchen counter also was little dated & ruined. The area could also become rather loud at times from builders, night life so be prepared for that. But overall I would recommend this value for money place for anyone visiting Taksim. I would deffernatley stay here again on my next visit to Turkey! ;)
