Taksim Metropark

Very very nice hotel. Especially the clean stuff was excellent. The location was the best and it was value for money.

My stay at Metro Park Taksim Hotel was absolutely awful. I have stayed in many hotels around the world, and this was by far the worst “4-star” hotel I have ever experienced. It doesn’t even meet basic 2-star standards. The room was dirty. The towels looked used, and one of them even had a ball of lint inside when I opened it. There were no basic amenities in the room — no toothbrush, no paper tissues, nothing. When I asked for these basic items, the staff told me these items are not available even with extra payment. This is completely unacceptable for a hotel claiming to be 4 stars. The breakfast was just as bad: late preparation, cold food, limited choices, and even the fruits were old and bruised. And even worse — they asked for additional payment if we wanted something as simple as a microwave or warm food. Unbelievable. The beds were extremely small, clearly designed for children aged 7–10, while I was traveling with my teenage daughter. Very uncomfortable and absolutely not suitable for adults. For the amount of money they charge, this hotel is not even worth a fraction of the price. A complete disappointment from start to finish. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place.

Taksim Metropark Hotel is situated in Taksim, just a 2-minute walk from the Taksim Metro station. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff is excellent and very friendly. I would recommend it for budget traveler. The reception team is incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast provided is basic (which I didn't particularly enjoy) and the service at the restaurant could be improved. We spent 2 days in Istanbul, traveled to Cappadocia, and then returned to Istanbul for another 2 days at this hotel. They securely stored our luggage until we returned, which was very helpful for traveling light on domestic flights. I highly recommend this hotel, and whenever I come back to Istanbul, it will be my preferred place to stay.
