Grand S Hotel

I was to catch the bus from this location to Batumi. I wasn't even a guest at this hotel. The bus hadn't arrived by nearly one hour. I used google translate to contact the bus company and via WhatsApp. There was going to be a wait. The staff at the hotel were very accommodating. I'm a solo traveller from Australia. They normally only offer the restaurant to guests staying with them. I was invited to have a coffee, which I did. Upon further contact with the bus company there was going to be a delay of about 4hours. The staff at the hotel invited me to stay for the duration, gave me the wifi password. I had another iced latte, ordered cake. Then we found out the bus was going to be 7 hours in total delayed. The staff were so kind to let me sit there, now on a glass of sprite. The doorman came to get me when the bus finally arrived. I paid my tab, tipped and am forever grateful to their hospitality. Thank you so much. Dee

The hotel is quite good, with public transportation nearby. The breakfast is abundant but monotonous; it's almost always the same. The restaurant staff is always present in the dining area attending to guests. The cleanliness is good. FATIMA was in charge of my room; she was very polite, kind, respectful, and always willing to assist you. I will return and I also recommend it.

It was a pleasant stay. It's located opposite the bus station, making transportation easy. The reception, bellboy, and other staff were very helpful. Thank you.
