Sunrise Hotel

It was a truly indescribable experience, in a NEGATIVE sense. Already on arrival the communications were unclear: to get the Wi-Fi password I had to have it written on any paper. The room was not closing properly, so I was forced to leave it locked but without a key. The Wi-Fi worked intermittently, the structure has too many stairs and no elevator, unpleasant smells, and at night there were many noises: you can hear practically everything from the adjacent rooms. On the first day I get up for breakfast, which I had paid for and was included. I go down to the front desk at about 9:00, but I am told that breakfast opened at 9:30. I then ask what time it was available. The staff spoke no comprehensible language other than Turkish and, after several attempts and the use of Google Translate, I was informed that it was not closing and that I could return safely at any time. But when I come down later, the same person denies having told me this, refuses to talk to me and nods me to leave, saying he had to work. I insist on explaining that the problem was not so much the breakfast, but the ways and the fact of passing me off as the one he did not understand. All this happened only thanks to the mediation of a person outside the hotel. A level of rudeness never seen before: staff who do not even speak a language understandable to most guests, total refusal to dialogue and solve problems, and a total lack of respect. I have been to Turkey several times and this is the first time I have had such an experience. They don't look like people who are fit to run a hotel or a clientele. I wouldn't even recommend it for free. Considering that the location is also not among the best, there are many better alternatives in the area, even at lower prices.

Didn’t stay at the hotel but the bar staff are amazing. The lady for Turkmenistan was brilliant so much fun. The vegetarian pizza was the best we’ve had. We loved her completely! The food was excellent but she will goad you into another gin and tonic! 😂

Rarely have I felt so devastated in a hotel. From my arrival when they did not want to recognize my reservation as already paid until my departure. The stairs to go up to the room are very uncomfortable and unstable. Mediocre room, very good location. A mistake to have gone
