We stayed a whole week at 10 Karakoy. It’s a perfect location, very central, a stone’s throw from Galata Bridge and Galata Tower, Galata Port, a lot of restaurants around the area so we can very much recommend the area. Staff is friendly and communication in English works. We were grateful that the rooms are quiet, windows do a pretty good job of keeping out the hustle and bustle. Breakfast is good, the only note we had was that the team really wants you out as of 10:30 am rather than letting you sit and finish your tea. Rooms are clean and well equipped. The shower pressure is good, we had a bit of an issue with the shower outlet not doing its job as it should which resulted in a bit of wet bathroom floor but the team sorted it out. The AC which works well in terms of cooling down the temperature made some funny noises which we flagged and after a few days this was sorted out but then the area under the AC began to drip of condensation water toward the end of our stay which we flagged with the team as we felt bad for the wooden floor tiles which are lovely. We enjoyed our stay at the 10 Karakoy and can certainly recommend it. The team provided good recommendations, thanks for making out stay a memorable one.
