Comfort Hotel Taksim

I checked in on 04 June 26. The hotel is in a small avenue, difficult for transport to reach there. The Receptionist (Non English Speaking), took 45 minutes to check me in, he could not operate the system, had to call someone else to do it. I booked a Suite room, but they gave me a Triple Room #403. On informing them, they changed my room to #503, which they claimed was a suite. It's a small illegally built room which has no lift access, lift is till 4th floor and you have to walk up one floor thru a narrow winding staircase. The room is poorly lit with one light in the room and one light in the bathroom that doesn't switch off. There is a small 2mts x 2 mts terrace, with construction material lying around. The water Kettle was rusty inside, plugs hanging out from the sockets, bathroom average, with no hooks for clothes in the bathroom, air conditioning not working, no water in toilet from previous evening. Breakfast is average, 2 boiled eggs, bread, chicken salami, Turkish butter, cucumber and tomato. Rooms have TV's, that are only for show, they dont have a wire to plug in. I had them change my room in the morning and they shifted me to room 103, a small room, with a kettle not working as well as the A/c not working. Non one speaks English here, the Receptionist is an XXXX who uses a translator app. On informing him that the A/c is not working, he tells open the windows then. I would strongly not recommend this hotel to waste your money.

The breakfast was served from 8:00 to 10:00, but when we went around 9:30 there was almost no food left. The quality of the food was poor and the service was not satisfactory either. Overall, the hotel did not meet our expectations.

The hotel is dirty, moldy in places, unkept, the room smells of smoke. We were in room 4, but they only had 3 towels. We asked for more, they brought us. They didn't bring anything. There was no regular cleaning either. Breakfast was a disaster - hard-boiled eggs, one salami, one cheese, tomatoes, cucumber and that's it.
