Overall, the service is really good, the staff at the front desk are very kind and help you with anything you need for example we needed an iron and it was delivered to our room in less than 10 minutes. The rooms are very unique which I really liked, it kind of feels like you’ve been transported back in time and the concept of each room having a corresponding family member of the sultan is also very cool. The only reason that this is a 4 and not a 5 is the noise at night, this hotel is located on a main road which means there’s always traffic and always beeping, we initially had a room on the 3rd floor but then moved to the 5th floor because it was so loud, if you are a light sleeper I wouldn’t recommend staying on the lower floors.
In terms of location it’s a 5/5 the local neighbourhood is so cute and you are a 5 minute walk away from istiklal street. If you want to explore the local area I’d recommend Pera cafe and the neighbouring bookstore. And the view from the rooms are breathtaking.
