Enderun Hotel

We arrived on the afternoon of September 15th. I don't know how to define the experience in one word. I'll start with the positive things: The hotel overall is decent, good choice for breakfast, abundant and in a welcoming environment. The girl who serves at the tables is very kind. Some of the staff are kind (the cleaning lady is exquisite), some never smile or look up. Our deluxe room is decent, the location is very convenient. Negative things: to our surprise, upon arrival we were assigned a room accessed from an adjacent wing, on the first floor without an elevator and with steep, slippery, and narrow steps. The incredible discovery was that instead of the 30 sqm deluxe room as written on the site and booked and paid for by us for 5 nights, they assigned us a very small room, it must have been barely 15 sqm, very damp, smelly, and depressing. When we asked to change, the same employee wouldn't listen to us and kept insisting that that one and the de Luxe were the same thing… 🤦🏻‍♀️ According to him, it wasn't possible to speak with the manager. Despite our exhaustion and disappointment, we were forced to go to another hotel the first night, which was a significant inconvenience. We returned the next day to speak with the manager, but the same person from the night before had completely changed his attitude, he seemed like a different person, and he gave us the right room… inexplicable! In the following days, he tried to be kind without understanding the damage done and never apologized, even when faced with the evidence. The night before our departure, the safe wouldn't open; at the reception, a guy told us he would check (who knows when). When I pressed him, since our passports were inside and we had to leave, he got annoyed, almost angry; when he came up to the room, he entered, fixed it, and left without ever looking up or saying goodbye. That's not how it works, no. Although everything went well afterward, the experience on the first night was very difficult, and we will not be returning.

Very clean hotel, charming and very convenient area, the staff is very kind, smiling, and always available to help you. Good breakfast. A special thanks to Osman and Baran, who, in addition to always being very kind, helped us by contacting the transfer driver who was having difficulty finding the establishment.

A lovely little hotel, conveniently located in the old town. Good breakfasts, friendly and helpful staff.
