Flamingo Apart

The owners have more than one apartment. Not associated with the Flamingo Hotel. We stayed in a large studio with three beds, dishwasher, veranda facing the Blue Mosque, full kitchen with microwave and cable TV. Lots of light from the patio, small school next door (don't worry it's not noisy), on a quiet street. Very clean. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and speak very good English. They will take care of absolutely any issues or questions you have, and they make you feel like close friends. Everywhere there are sights of enormous historical importance. Hagia Sofia is about a seven minute walk away, and you can hear the muzzeins call to prayer in the evenings from the mosques. Hard to imagine a more romantic atmosphere. The large apartment we were in is on the third floor and pretty easy to traverse with bags. There's also a smaller apartment over the store that requires more effort. Don't worry though they will be happy to help and will tell you to call them anytime for help. They were quite wonderful and generous.

I stayed in Flamingo apartments for 11 days starting on Nov 16, 2015, and really enjoyed the staff service, the rooms are very clean and spacious, the staffs are awesome, they helped with tour arrangement, pick up and drop off from airport and to airport. no hassle at all. I will stay in Flamingo again. Many thanks to Gurkan and Hakan. Hakan arranged everything for us, from site seeing to shopping. Great job Flamingo.

This is a simply furnished apartment hotel with all basic necessary amenities. While the apartments are not lavishly furnished, they have all the basic amenities and provide a handy kitchenette for quick meals. This was specially helpful for us as we were a huge family traveling with kids. The highlight of these apartments is the location! It's right in middle of everything and all the major sites in the Sultanahmet district. A mini market is conveniently located close by. You can also take advantage of a traditions Turkish Hamam bath just steps away. Definitely recommend this one for the location as well as the convenience.
