Dear Sirs;
I am writing to express my deep appreciation for the extraordinary service of the Manager and hotel staff of the Golden Horn Bosphorus. My tour guide had told me that I was booked for three days at your hotel. When I arrived to check-in there was no reservation for me, so your staff made some calls to other hotels but could not find any reservation for me. While your manager and I searched for answers, your staff generously offered me coffee, water, lemonade, and a couple of Turkish Delights.
When I eventually found a toll-free phone number for my tour guide, your manager called them, and we finally made contact with the company after several disconnects.
Only then was I informed that I was actually booked into the Grand Sirkeci (which is not as grand as the Golden Horn Bosphorus). One of your staff walked me and hauled my luggage over to that hotel.
As a solo, 82-year-old traveler, I believe this kindness and assistance were far beyond what I would have received at most other hotels.
My Sincerest Appreciation
