Golden Horn Sultanahmet Hotel

Does not look like a 4-star establishment, but less. The location is exceptional if you wish to be close to the main mosques. The view from the restaurant is the most beautiful in Istanbul. The hotel should make an effort regarding cleanliness and service at the restaurant.

Beautiful hotel,beautiful location-from the terrace enjoys such a view of the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn-Spirit is breathtaking!This view will stay with me in my best memories of life.inside the hotel beautiful and exquisite,friendly staff ,always ready to help .There is everything necessary in the room.I had a view from the window of the 3rd floor to the Blue Mosque.Relaxed in early May -the hotel seemed to be no one but me, but at breakfasts turned out-no,the hotel is populated,just so quiet !!Delicious food in the restaurant-it by the way not only at breakfasts ,and all kinds of food serves, which was not indicated on the website.The restaurant is non-alcoholic-that tradition!Nearby you can find bars and cafes with alcohol.All attractions are a stone's throw,trams run every 2 minutes.The more comfortable this hotel is hard to find.Highly recommend and great thanks to the manager Ilker😀 very helped to navigate Istanbul and sort things out.I really want to get back there again!

The hotel is close to the old quarter. The décor is lovely and the lift works well. The room was a bit small with a tiny wardrobe and 3 coat hangers. There was no room to store clothing as the drawers were tiny so clothing had to be kept in the suitcase. Good restaurant on the top floor with views over the mosques.
