Hotel Buhara Family Inn

A very interesting family hotel in the heart of Sultanahmet. Located in a very quiet street (my room overlooked the street), not many rooms. The rooms, although a little small, are very clean and functional. Breakfast is excellent and is done on the terrace which offers a very nice view of the Bosphorus. Service is perfect and kind. Prices are reasonable for the neighborhood. I highly recommend it.

Staff is very welcoming and helpful, over and above what was expected. Very nice breakfast on rooftop terrace included. The neighborhood is quiet at night. Can’t beat the location! You can’t go wrong booking this place. My room was a little small, but I only slept and took showers there. Many fine restaurants in the area as well. Many thanks for a very pleasant stay and for helping me with my luggage and mailing out my postcards.

Would highly recommend the Buhara Family Inn for young women travelling to Istanbul for a few days. We were travelling as two women and found the hospitality and location of accomodation to be perfect. The staff are very helpful. In particular, Illyus helped translate for us when booking a Hammam, and also booked us a taxi to the airport. He then went above and beyond, and was awake at 4am with us to make sure the taxi arrived/ we were up. There is also an amazing complimentary breakfast which was fabulous, and with an excellent view of both the ocean and the Blue Mosque. The location is super close to major historical landmarks, so great for a short stay. Would highly recommend, we felt very supported and safe!
