Istanbul Golden City Hotel

Hotel with an exceptional view, but the structure did not meet our expectations. The rooms and the hotel appear rather outdated and would need a makeover. (The air conditioning in the room is really very noisy and hardly usable at night). Also, the dinner at the restaurant, included in the half-board treatment, did not seem at all up to the standards of a 4-star hotel. On a positive note, the good cleanliness of the environments and the great friendliness of the staff, always kind and helpful, should be highlighted. Overall, it is a structure with some positive aspects, but it would need significant improvements to truly align with the declared category.

Fantastic hotel. Attentive and friendly staff. Spotlessly clean. Room with a view of the Bosphorus. Abundant and amazing breakfast. Strategic location. Definitely worth it.

Attention: there are two facilities with the same name. One is the "main" one, the one you see in the photo, and then there is another, equivalent to a two-star Italian hotel. We stayed from June 16 to 19 and ended up in the second one: dirty windows in the room that were only cleaned the day before our departure, At the reception, where there was always a smell of sewage that sometimes "spread" up to the third floor where we were staying, there was never anyone. Room cleanliness was questionable (dust scattered everywhere), bath towels were the same. Breakfast took place on the rooftop of the first facility. I strongly advise against this place
