Kent Hotel

A basic hotel in the heart of Istanbul that was not bad. But, our coach pulled up and 39 of us oldies on a Saga trip to Turkey, after a long days travelling had to push/pull/carry all of our luggage some 200 yards uphill to the hotel. About 25 yards from the hotel some porters came to help. The rooms were basic and functional. The restaurant food was alright but nothing special. Two days later off we trundle on our tour and pushed our cases back to our bus. Sadly not impressed with our hotel but it sufficed. I’m pleased to say that none of us suffered heart attacks from the effort needed on our first day.

Lovely experience. Rooms were great and the hotel is located in walking distance from most attractions. Great outdoor area to sit and relax and have a coffee and smoke. Friendly and helpful staff. Great restaurant located next door, or if you prefer the street cafe experience, good cheap food just down the road.

Clean and well-kept facility. With everything needed to stay in this city. Cleanliness, order, and friendly staff. Decent continental breakfast, without excelling. Close to the Grand Bazaar and other areas of interest. Well-frequented area outside.
