Melek Hotels Moda

My friend and I stayed at Melek Hotels Moda from August 25, 2026 to August 26, 2026. Since we had used the hotel's top-floor terrace occasionally during our previous stays, we wanted to spend some time there with our computers and work after 12:00 PM on our last stay as well. The interior of the terrace smelled of dust; it was very clear that it hadn't been used for a long time. After a while, with our belongings scattered around and us working, a female hotel employee was sent to inform us that a meeting was to be held there, and we were practically chased off the terrace. The justification for holding the meeting in a dusty, clearly unused area was blatantly false, and this attitude was more offensive and disrespectful than anything we have ever encountered at this hotel. We felt like unwanted guests. After this negative experience, I shared my findings in a Google review, but the hotel did not allow the negative review to be published. The manager, who previously begged guests to leave positive reviews, now preventing negative reviews is acting in a manner that is neither transparent nor befitting of guest satisfaction.

Very welcoming and very available staff, the reception staff are really very, very professional. However, I did not see the person who does the room maintenance, my room was not cleaned. The bed is comfortable, the furniture is a bit tired, it needs to be changed. The hotel's location is magnificent, you have everything nearby, 5 minutes on foot from the ferry to take the boat, 5 minutes also to go see the famous bull. Lots of restaurants and cafes, a well-animated neighborhood. I will come back without hesitation, thanks to Karim and Mohamed and Edame the cook also Eousiene, I had a very good time with you.

It’s a terrible service that gets 1 month in advance Reservation, then rents the same room to someone else, leaving guests from outside. We have never experienced a problem like this when we stayed before. However, I think the operators have changed and they are not currently able to provide service.
