Midillis Art Apartment

The place is just amazing! We had too book a place asap at 6 pm on Saturday and the host replied within 15 minutes. We moved in immediately. Room is quite big, has two beds, a coffee table (with an electric kettle, tea and coffee), two chairs and a bathroom - all very clean and tidy. We were also provided with towels, shampoo and shower gel, an air conditioner and a blow dryer. Also there's a shared kitchen with a washing machine and an amazing terrace with a panoramic view of Bosporus. The hostess is really nice and friendly. Any problems we had were solved immediately. Location appeared to be perfect - within 5 min walk you can reach main sights, tram line and several museums. The only negative side was the construction in the neighbour building - quite loud noises during daytime.

I recommend this hotel very highly. I have experience travelling in 60+ countries. Midillis offers friendly human support and great value for money. I got a warm welcome after a long flight,and a comfortable room with all requirements. I had some special requests, which they kindly accomodated. You can see the Blue Mosque from the breakfast terrace.

My best friend and I stayed at Art Midillis for 3 nights and it was the best decision we could have made. The location is amazing, close to everything-the Hippodrome, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia-and yet not super busy and the rooms at the back are very quiet, except when prayers are being called. your host Kamerun is lovely. Hint-get them to book you a transfer from the airport direct to the hotel if you're coming off a long flight, makes life easier. We stumbled in off a 32 hour flight and she just handed us the key and we fixed our airport transfers up later. The rooms are simple and clean, and the shared bathroom was small but new. Good showers too. But the best part was climbing the narrow staircase every morning to the little rooftop terrace to watch the sun rise over the Bosphorus and the Blue Mosque with a cup of tea-simply marvellous.
