Taxim Elegance Suites

We stayed here for two nights. The street where the hotel building is situated was untidy. The room was OK with a double bed(although we had requested the hotel to provide us two single beds). The room also have closet and a sofa. Bathroom was clean and OK but the door of shower area was missing thus making the floor wet also flushing knob was broken. Room had a window with no thick curtains. No breakfast included in the package. Recommended for two or three nights. Taksim Square and Istiklal Street was on walking distance. Bus stop for buses to Istanbul Airport (Havaist) and Sabiha Gokcen (Havabus) are also on walking distance.

It's located quite near to Taksim Square...and just across the road from Istiklal Cadesi. Nothing much except for a decent bed..a sofa..sink...and toilet. My stay there was quite chilly as the heaters weren't working. The owner is quite a friendly chap...and quite fluent in English. If you intend to stay there during the weekend....be prepared of the noisy nights that you may encounter. There's a few pubs and clubs nearby...and the busy road is right next to it. Weekday nights are much quieter...but there were a few shoutings and ambulance sirens. Its a place to stay if you only need a place to rest and sleep.

To be fair the room is not bad, but stench!! Worst smell I've ever experienced anywhere, we had to sleep in a different hotel because the smell was horrible. The dreadful room E5. Also, bathroom was in shambles the door is broken the faucet is broken and the smell in the bathroom is double stench. Avoid this hotel at any cost.
